专利说明:

[0001] The present invention relates to devices for performing a cosmetic treatment of keratinous substances, in particular the skin, the scalp or the hair. "Cosmetic product" means any composition as defined in Council Directive 93/35 / EEC of 14 June 1993. It is known that the application of an electrical current to the skin may promote the penetration of active ingredients. . It is thus known to treat human keratin materials using iontophoresis devices (J. Singh, KS Bhatia, topical iontophoretic drug delivery: pathways, principles, factors and skin irritation, Med Res Res, vol 16 , No. 3, 285-296, 1996).
[0002] Iontophoresis allows the diffusion of actives through the skin through electrical stimulation in a non-invasive way. The current administered can be adjustable in intensity and direction (anodal or cathodal). Transcutaneous diffusion of molecules via iontophoresis is based on two principles: electrorepulsion and electroosmosis. Electrorepulsion is the migration of an ionized molecule by repulsion of charges of the same sign. Thus, if a substance is positively charged, it will diffuse through the skin at the (+) anode. Electroosmosis is the migration of a molecule, even if not ionized, by driving linked to the flow of water from the anode to the cathode during iontophoresis. The migration is due in particular to the negative charge of the skin. Under the effect of a current, the water or a solvent causes, during their migration, dissolved substances. The application of the electric current on the skin can be achieved by means of a tip. For large areas of the body or cheek of the face, the tip can be large. In areas more difficult to access, the tip may take the form of a small head easier to contact or move.
[0003] In order to increase the efficiency of iontophoresis, it is necessary to develop specific devices that optimize the penetration of active ingredients through the skin. It is already known to use an iontophoresis device provided with a massaging tip to generate a massage facilitating this penetration.
[0004] By way of illustration, the documents EP 2 430945 and EP 2 111 889 describe an eye contour treatment device with a metal ball connected to the electrode and an integrated cosmetic composition tank.
[0005] GB 2372 705 A discloses an iontophoresis device with electrodes of ABS plastic metallized with a metal corrosion resistance. The tank is also connected with the electrode for the ionization of the formula. US Pat. No. 6,666,192 B1 discloses an iontophoresis device with a ball attached to a tube of cream.
[0006] The TMT® professional device marketed by Bodyesthetic uses an iontophoresis device equipped with a stainless steel rotating ball. These devices all include a product reservoir that can be operated by the user or that operates by capillarity or gravity, which is rather adapted to fluid formulas. It is difficult to properly control the quantity of product delivered.
[0007] The i-beauty gun® device marketed by AAMS (Anti-Aging Medical System) emits a current by roller-type probe with enslavement of the product deposit to the impedance measured between an electrode and the skin. With this device, the quantity of product delivered is controlled by an electronic system to reduce the impedance of contact with the skin.
[0008] However, in all currently known devices, the electrode is apparent. It can be in direct contact with the skin. It follows that the current can pass through the skin even in the absence of cosmetic composition. Penetration efficiency is therefore not optimized. There is therefore a need for a cosmetic treatment device by an electric current that allows to provide a better efficiency than the known devices and can be used safely. For this purpose, the invention proposes to have the electrodes on an iontophoresis tip so that it does not come into direct contact with the skin during the use of the device. In practice, the invention proposes placing the electrodes set back from the application surface so that they never touch the skin. The electrodes are located away from the application surface. More specifically, the subject of the invention is a device for cosmetic treatment of keratin materials by an electric current comprising at least: an electrical supply system, a reservoir containing a cosmetic composition (P), a tip comprising an electrode and at least one applicator member, said applicator member delimiting an external wall capable of being loaded with product contained in the reservoir, a counter-electrode, a system for controlling the amount of composition (P) leaving of the reservoir at the impedance measured between the electrode and the keratinous materials, the electrode and the applicator member being arranged in such a way that the composition (P) is the only conductive substance in contact with the skin during the treatment. use of the device. According to the invention, the term "electrode" means an electrode positively charged (anode) or negatively (cathode). This electrode is generally disposed on the outer surface of the tip to come into direct contact with the keratin materials. But, the electrode can also be inserted into the outer wall of the tip. In this case, it does not come into direct contact with the keratin materials. In general, the electrode is in contact with the area to be treated. Throughout the text, the term "electrode" means a single isolated electrode.
[0009] An electrode may for example be in the form of a ball or pad. By "counter-electrode" is meant a negatively charged electrode (cathode) or positively (anode) electrode. The charge of the counter-electrode is opposite to that of the electrode. In general, it is arranged on the body of the device or on a handpiece. The counter electrode is intended to come into contact with a body area of the person undergoing the treatment. For example, it can be grasped between the fingers of the person. In one configuration, the counter-electrode may be disposed on the tip. In this event, it is separated from the electrodes by an insulating space. The term "electrical supply system" means an electrical assembly capable of inducing a potential difference between the electrodes and the counter-electrode. If the tip is placed on the face and the counter-electrode is held in one hand, the potential difference is established between the face and the hand. The expression "the composition (P) is the only conductive substance in contact with the skin during the use of the device" means in particular that the electrode is not in contact with the skin and that the tip has no contact with the skin. conductive material in contact with the skin. Preferably, the electrode is housed inside the tip.
[0010] Advantageously, the electrode is moved away from the outer wall of the applicator member by a distance (di) of between 0.2 mm and 5 mm. The distance (di) represents the distance between the electrode and the outer wall of the applicator member. This distance (di) is the shortest measurable distance between the electrode and the outer wall of the applicator member. It is measured between any point of the electrode and the outer wall of the applicator member, provided that the measured distance is the shortest distance. SYS TEMS OF ASSERVING Advantageously, the device according to the invention comprises an electronic unit adapted to put on standby (or standby) the power supply of the electrodes if the current detected between an electrode and the skin is below a threshold value (is) predetermined. The potential difference between the electrode and the counterelectrode is maintained at a threshold value (Us) by the power supply circuit, in standby mode (or in standby mode) of the power supply.
[0011] On the contrary, if the current (im) detected between an electrode and the skin is greater than this threshold value (is), the generator increases the current up to a predetermined value (IJ greater than is) The current flows between the electrode and the counterelectrode through the skin More advantageously, the electronic unit comprises a current sensor for detecting the current value between the electrode and the skin, preferably the threshold intensity (is) is included 1.1A and 10uA. Advantageously, the power supply circuit comprises a generator adapted to control the voltage (U) the electrode and the counter-electrode, which makes it possible to control the target current (0 between the electrode and The tension (U) generated depends on the impedance (Zs) of the "skin + cosmetic composition" system and is limited to a maximum value (Umax) for safety (eg 50V).
[0012] If there is not enough cosmetic composition between the electrode and the skin, the impedance (Z) is very important. The generator can not maintain the current (ic) even with the maximum voltage it can deliver. It detects a current of weak intensity. If the amount of cosmetic composition between the electrode and the skin increases, the generator can resume control of the current (ic) due to a decrease of the impedance (Zs) there. The device according to the invention may comprise an electronic unit adapted to trigger the supply of the applicator member in a cosmetic composition. This trip occurs if the current detected between an electrode and the skin is less than a predetermined threshold value (is) which is slightly lower than the target value (ic). Just after this triggering, the measured current intensity (im) increases. up to a target value (ic). As soon as it reaches this target value (i,), the supply of the application member in cosmetic composition is automatically interrupted. Preferably, the power supply circuit comprises a microcontroller. In practice, the intensity between the electrode and the skin is maintained by the power supply circuit between the threshold intensity (is) and the target intensity (ic).
[0013] The current (im) is compared by a microprocessor with the values of threshold intensity (is) and target intensity (ic). If (im) <(is), then the supply of the applicator member in cosmetic composition is triggered. This power supply continues until a current equal to the predetermined value (ic) is detected.
[0014] If (im)> (i,), then the supply of the applicator member in cosmetic composition is interrupted. We are in a situation of saturation of formula. Preferably, the current (ic) is identified to achieve a current intensity per unit area ranging from 0.01 mA / cm 2 to 0.5 mA / cm 2, preferably from 0.1 mA / cm 2 to 0.3 mA / cm2 It is understood that the expression "microcontroller" refers to a single electronic device, such as for example a microprocessor chip, or for a set of programmable electronic elements, such as communication gateways allowing management by third party equipment (PC type, PDA, etc.).
[0015] ELECTRICAL PARAMETERS The power source may include any battery or accumulator.
[0016] The voltage between the electrodes is for example between 1.2 V and 24 V, preferably between 1.2 and 3.3 V. Where appropriate, the passage of the current can create a punctual heating. The source of electrical energy may comprise, for example, a DC voltage source. Alternatively, the source of electrical energy may comprise an electronic circuit for varying the amplitude of the voltage generated over time. This electronic circuit may, for example, be a chopper. At equivalent current density, the device may in particular deliver a current density, at the level of the skin, preferably less than or equal to 0.500 mA / cm 2, for example between 0.01 mA / cm 2 and 0.500 mA / cm 2, for example. example between 0.1 mA / cm2 and 0.3mA / cm2. ELECTRODE The electrode may be flat, for example in the form of a flat disk or a polygon.
[0017] The electrode may be porous. The electrode may be hollow, being for example formed by stamping or bending an electrically conductive sheet. Materials that can be used for producing the electrodes The electrode may, for example, comprise: a metal (chromium, stainless steel), for example a noble metal (gold, titanium), inert with respect to the formula, a metal plated with a noble metal, - an alloy, - a composite material (plastic filled with carbon microfibers), - a conducting fabric, - a conductive nonwoven, - a polymer material made conductive, - a fibrous material, - conductive polymer fibers , for example as described in the publication CN101532190, carbon fibers, for example as described in the publication JP2009179915, silicones made conductive by the addition of conductive fillers such as silver, copper or carbon . Such silicones are, for example, provided by the companies Saint Gobain, Plastics Performance and Aquitaine Rubber 2000, conductive metal fabrics, for example supplied by the companies Utexbel and Cousin Biotech, carbonized vinyl, for example provided by the companies Copema and Rexam, - electrosurgical plates, for example provided by the companies Copema and 3M, - intrinsic conductive polymers, for example provided by Paniplast companies. APPLICATION BODY The application member may have any geometric shape. It is neither conductive nor connected to the supply circuit.
[0018] Advantageously, the device comprises a plurality of application members. The outer wall of the applicator member may be completely inert from a chemical point of view vis-à-vis the products and keratin materials. The outer wall can be covered with a varnish. The outer wall can be polished.
[0019] The outer wall may comprise a biocidal material. Advantageously, the applicator member can rotate about an axis of rotation (X). Furthermore, the outer wall of the applicator member may be disposed close to the product reservoir, which makes it possible to avoid the presence in particular of specific ducts for conveying product from the reservoir to this outer wall. In an exemplary implementation of the invention, the outer wall has a symmetry substantially of revolution about an axis of symmetry, the outer wall being rotatable about this axis of symmetry.
[0020] Alternatively, the applicator member may be rotatable about an axis of rotation distinct from this axis of symmetry. The outer wall of the applicator member may have a substantially elongate ellipsoidal shape or, alternatively, a substantially ellipsoidal flattened shape. In another embodiment of the invention, the outer wall has a substantially spherical shape (roll on). In particular, the application member is a ball.
[0021] The applicator member may comprise a core on which the outer wall is attached. This core may comprise for example a surface provided with reliefs and the outer wall may be adapted to deform during application to come into contact with the reliefs. These can produce a massage effect when the applicator member is in contact with the surface to be treated, which can among other facilitate the penetration of the product into the skin and promote its action. The outer wall may, alternatively, be rigid. In an exemplary implementation of the invention, the outer wall comprises reliefs, which may comprise for example bosses or ribs.
[0022] Alternatively, the relief elements can be removable. It is thus possible to change the relief elements of the device, for example in order to modify their dimensions, their surface properties, or their roughness. Advantageously, the applicator member is removably mounted on the device.
[0023] More advantageously, the applicator member comprises at least one relief. TANK The tank may comprise a wall on which the outlet orifice opens, this wall substantially conforming to the shape of at least a portion of the applicator member. The dispensing mechanism of the formula at the outlet of the tank may comprise a pump.
[0024] Advantageously, the dispensing system comprises an air pump, for compressing the air between the walls of the tank and its housing. The walls of the reservoir are preferably flexible and the walls of the housing are preferably rigid.
[0025] More preferably, the housing is airtight. The reservoir is compressed in a controlled manner by the air pump. This creates some pressure in the housing to regulate the flow of formula. A unidirectional valve at the end of the tank can preserve the formula of the air contact. When the current generator detects a current fuse, it can activate the pump to push the formula out of the tank. The impedance is thus rebalanced. This principle ensures a sufficient amount of composition between the electrode and the skin. It makes it possible to optimize the penetration of the composition. The reservoir may have a variable internal volume and comprise at least one elastically deformable wall to reduce the internal volume, in particular two walls that are elastically deformable facing one another. The reservoir may be arranged to be removably mounted on the device so as to allow, when the reservoir is emptied, to replace it with another or to remove it to fill it, when the reservoir comprises a filling orifice.
[0026] Advantageously, the reservoir comprises an elastically deformable outer wall. Preferably, the reservoir comprises an outlet opening opening through a conduit on the outer wall of the applicator member. Advantageously, the deformable zone is an axially deformable zone.
[0027] The term "axially deformable zone" means a deformable zone along the longitudinal axis X of the nozzle. Advantageously, the deformable zone comprises a bellows. The thickness of the bellows is for example between 0.1 mm and 1 mm and preferably between 0.3 mm and 0.8 mm.
[0028] Advantageously, the number of folds of the bellows can be between two and six, better between three and five. Advantageously, the reservoir is formed in one piece.
[0029] It is preferably molded in one piece, in particular in the same thermoplastic material, for example LDPE, HDPE, a mixture of LDPE and HDPE, PP or a mixture of PE and PP in any proportion. The thickness of the tank wall is for example between 0.1 and 1 mm and in the second zone between 0.3 and 0.8 mm. Advantageously, the total internal reservoir volume is between 1 and 100 cm3, preferably between 20 and 50 cm3, in the rest configuration of the deformable zone. This volume is optimal for some uses or a repeated treatment extending over a few weeks. Preferably, the internal volume of the reservoir can shrink by a volume of between 10% and 50% of the internal volume of said reservoir in the rest configuration of the deformable zone. This variation in volume has the advantage of being visible and measurable.
[0030] The tank can be manufactured by injection blow molding or extrusion blow molding. Advantageously, the tank is removable. More preferably, the reservoir is a single-use reservoir. It can be single dose or not.
[0031] COMBINED FUNCTIONS The device may comprise one or more processing modules that can be activated selectively, for example it may be envisaged to subject the tip to light, to a source of heat, or even to vibrations, as will be specified further. i) Light source According to the invention, the device advantageously comprises a light source. The light source may be, for example at least one LED, as described in FR-A-2 917 299, US-A-2010/274329 or WO-A-2008/057640. ii) Source of heat According to the invention, the device advantageously comprises a heat source. In this case, it is possible to change the temperature of the outer surface of the tip and / or the treated region and / or transmit energy to the outer surface of the tip and / or the treated region. The device may for example comprise a heating resistor or a thermoelectric element or an infrared source positioned under the tip. Preferably, the heat source comprises an infrared source or a resistor. The device may comprise a heating module, and be configured to heat the outer surface of the nozzle at a predetermined temperature, for example at a temperature between 35 ° C and 45 ° C. In the case of a device comprising a heating module, the heating surface can reach a temperature of 10 ° C to 35 ° C higher than room temperature, preferably 15 ° C to 25 ° C in heating mode. The power delivered by the heating module can be between 0.25 and 10 W, preferably between 0.5 and 5 W. More preferably, the heat source is housed completely inside the device The resistance can be connected on a card by two isolated connectors, for example using the location of the switches. The infrared source can be integrated into the body of the device, such as the handle. The outer part of the device, for example a shell, can be used to guide the infrared radiation towards the tip.
[0032] The electrical circuit may comprise at least one electronic switch connected in series with the heating member and which allows for example to feed it with the desired ratio.
[0033] COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS It is possible to use with the device at least one cosmetic composition.
[0034] The composition (s) used may be in any form, for example in the form of an aqueous solution, an oil, an emulsion, a powder or a gel. The composition (s) used can be further sprayed on the skin.
[0035] When the composition (s) used is / are in the form of a gel, it may take the form of the electrode on which it is applied as mentioned above. The composition (s) may contain an active ingredient. Advantageously, the cosmetic product is chosen from: a composition for the care of the face or of the body, comprising in particular an active agent chosen from moisturizing or moisturizing active agents, anti-aging active ingredients, for example depigmenting active agents, active agents acting on the microcirculation dermal or sebum regulatory agents. a composition for makeup of the face or body, a hair composition, in particular a composition for washing the hair, the care or conditioning of the hair, the maintenance or the temporary shaping of the hair, the temporary coloring, permanent or permanent hair, straightening or perm, including a composition for straightening, coloring, discoloration of roots and hair, - a composition for the scalp including an anti-dandruff composition, anti-hair loss or regrowth, anti seborrhea, anti-inflammatory, anti-irritation or soothing, anti-stain or for the stimulation or protection of the scalp. The device can be used in various cosmetic treatments, for example to fight against wrinkles, herpes, acne or redensifying the skin or hair. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will emerge on reading the detailed description which follows, made with reference to non-limiting embodiments and illustrated by the appended drawings, in which: FIG. schematically and partially in perspective, a device according to the invention, - Figure 2 illustrates schematically and partially in axial section, the device of Figure 1; - Figure 3 illustrates schematically and partially in top view, the FIG. 4 schematically and partially shows, in plan view, the device of FIG. 1; FIG. 5 schematically and partially shows, in perspective, the device of FIG. 1, detached tip; FIG. 6 diagrammatically and partially, in perspective, a tip of the device of FIG. 1. FIGS. sitive according to the invention. It comprises a body 12 on which is mounted tip 2 comprising two application members 6 and 7 and an electrode 4. A product tank 3 is housed inside the body 12. The device is powered by a current generator ( electronic card). This generator is powered by a battery (batteries or rechargeable battery). It can deliver: - a constant / programmed galvanic current for a mode of iontophoresis (+ or -) or - electrical pulses for an electroporation mode or - a constant galvanic current I coupled with electrical pulses V from time to time for a mode of ionto-stimulation. The duration and frequency of these pulses are programmable. The polarization of the electrode 4 and that of the counter electrode 5 are invertible (+ or -) depending on the nature of the cosmetic composition (P) used. The device further comprises a system for controlling the amount of composition (P) coming out of the reservoir 3 to the impedance measured between the electrode 4 and the keratin materials. The operation of this system is in itself known. In the example considered, the body 12 is made of thermoplastic material.
[0036] Alternatively, it can be made of any other material. In the example under consideration, the application members are plastic balls (roll on). They are mounted on the shell 11 of the nozzle 2. The application members 6 and 7 could have any other shape, for example rollers.
[0037] The body 12 has in the upper part a head 121 extending along an axis Y and intended to receive the tip 2. The tip 2 is clipped on the head 121 of the body 12. It could be mounted in another way. The body 12 has a bottom wall 122 having a substantially concave shape, as can be seen in FIG. 2. The tip 2 consists of three parts: the electrode 4, the balls 6 and 7 and the shell 11. The shell 11 is removable to facilitate cleaning after use.
[0038] The electrode 4 is connected to a pole of the electric power generator. It communicates with the reservoir 3 to ensure the transmission of electric current to the cosmetic composition. The cosmetic composition ionizes out of the tank 3. It then passes on the beads 6 and 7 to reach the skin for the iontophoresis treatment and / or electroporation.
[0039] The counter-electrode 5 is disposed on the outer face of the handle 13. It is connected with the other pole of the current generator. Counter-electrode 5 closes the circuit at the time of treatment. The generated electrical current passes through a connector 8. The latter is placed on the head 121 of the body 12. It then joins the electrode 4. It finally travels to the part of the ionized formula in the space 9 and around the beads 6 and 7. The current then arrives on the skin before returning to the counter-electrode 5 through the hand holding the device. In this configuration, the electrode 4 is not in direct contact with the skin. It is completely housed inside the tip 2. If there is not enough composition between the electrode 4 and the skin to close the circuit, the current generator detects an increase in impedance. It activates a pump to push the composition out of the tank through the ionization system to rebalance the impedance level. This principle makes it possible to guarantee a sufficient quantity of composition between the electrode 4 and the skin and optimizes the penetration of the composition. The tip 2 defines openings on its head wall 21 so as to leave substantially free half of the application members 6 and 7. Each application member 6 and 7 is held on the tip 2 in free rotation around a soul, in a manner known per se (roll on).
[0040] The application members 6 and 7 further comprise an outer wall 61 and 71 able to be loaded with product contained in the tank 3 and having in the example considered a spherical shape.
[0041] The reservoir 3 is placed in a detachable manner between the walls of a housing 123 of the body 12. It is extended by a duct 36. The reservoir 3 has the shape of a bellows. It defines a variable interior volume and comprises two elastically deformable walls 31 and 32 arranged opposite one another, as illustrated in FIG.
[0042] This reservoir 3 is compressed in a controlled manner by an air pump system 13 which creates a certain pressure in the hull and regulates the flow rate of the formula. A unidirectional valve at the end of the tank also preserves the formula of contact with the area. The reservoir 3 comprises an end wall 34 provided with a plurality of outlet openings 33. This outlet orifice 33 may be circular or in the form of a slot for example. The reservoir 3 may comprise on its lateral sides two longitudinal grooves intended to engage each one on two corresponding longitudinal ribs of the housing 123.
[0043] When the reservoir 3 is in place on the body 12, the upper wall 34 of the reservoir 3 is positioned against the head wall 121 of the body 12. The conductive material used for the electrode 4 may be metal or conductive plastic or graphite and preferably of a chemically inert nature with respect to the formula (ex gold, platinum, or gilded metal, graphite, glassy carbon, plastic or elastomer or silicone loaded with carbon fiber). In another configuration of the device, a mono-dose in the form of a lozenge with flexible membranes can be used to replace the reservoir 3. The device is separable into two parts: the body 12 and the endpiece 2. When the endpiece 2 is fixed at the body 12, the connector 8 makes it possible to connect the electrode 4 to a pole of the generator housed in the body 12 comprising a handle 13. The composition reservoir 3 can be preserved by a plug in the body 12.
[0044] One or two switches 9 can detect the presence of the tip 2 to ensure the safety of the device. If the tip 2 is present, one can start the treatment, if the tip 2 is not present, the handle 13 is disabled.
[0045] The reservoir 3 contains a cosmetic product, for example a gel or a liquid, especially a low-viscosity liquid. To begin the treatment, the user starts the device, which causes the rotation of the balls 6 and 7. In contact with the surface to be treated, the latter produce a massage effect on the surface. The outer walls 61 and 71 are loaded product. As soon as the impedance measured between the skin and the electrode 4 is too high, the pump activates the output of the product. The device emits a current with slaving of the product deposit at the measured impedance. The electrode 4 is not in contact with the skin. The balls 6 and 7, non-conductive, are always covered with cosmetic composition during operation of the apparatus. The composition is the only conductive substance in contact with the skin when using the device. The present invention has been described with reference to particular embodiments, illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 6, and with reference to particular examples, but it is understood that other variants may be envisaged by those skilled in the art, in particular the number and types of electrodes may vary and other arrangements than those described may be envisaged to constitute devices according to the invention. In particular, the shape of the tip may vary or the positioning of the electrodes and the counter-electrode. The latter may for example be arranged on the tip. The device may have a bent shape, so that the longitudinal axis Z of the body 50 forms an angle with the Y axis of the portion carrying the electrodes, the angle between the X and Y axes being for example 30 °. The expression "having one" shall be understood as being synonymous with "having at least one", unless the opposite is specified.
